Arrival in Cusco
Arrive in the imperial city (3,399 m) and transfer to your hotel to settle in and take the altitude gently.
San Cristóbal & San Blas
Head up to the San Cristóbal viewpoint and walk down through San Blas — the Siete Borreguitos lane, the Sapantiana aqueduct, the Twelve-Angled Stone and the Plaza de Armas.
Cathedral & Qorikancha
In the afternoon, step inside the Cathedral and the Qorikancha, the Inca Temple of the Sun once sheathed in gold.
Ruins above the city
Explore the Inca sites of Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay before returning to your hotel.

Train from Poroy
Transfer to Poroy station and board the Expedition train through the valley to Machu Picchu.
Guided tour of the citadel

Lunch & return train
Return to Aguas Calientes for an included lunch, then the afternoon train back to Poroy and transfer to your hotel.
