Down to Paracas
Coast road to Paracas
Travel by coach down the Pacific coast to Paracas, about four hours south of Lima, and transfer to your hotel.
Paracas National Reserve
Explore the reserve, stopping at the small Julio C. Tello museum with its funerary bundles and ceramics.
La Catedral & Red Beach
Continue to the Cathedral rock arch rising from the sea, and the striking Red Beach with its rust-coloured sand and clear water.

Ballestas islands & Huacachina
Ballestas islands
Set out early by boat to the Ballestas islands to spot Humboldt penguins, sea lions, herons and other marine life.
Huacachina oasis
Drive on to Ica and the lagoon of Huacachina, the ‘Oasis of America’, ringed by towering dunes.
Dune buggy ride
Hurtle across the Ica dunes by buggy before checking in to your hotel.

The Nazca Lines
Drive to Nazca
Head south by private transport to Nazca and its natural viewing tower over some of the enigmatic desert figures.
María Reiche house-museum
Visit the home of María Reiche, the archaeologist who devoted her life to studying and protecting the lines.
Flight over the Lines
Take to the air over the Nazca Lines to admire the great figures — the condor, hummingbird, spider and more (weather permitting).
Lunch & return to Ica
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way back to your hotel in Ica.

Vineyard & back to Lima
Tacama vineyard
Visit the Tacama estate, one of the oldest wineries in the Americas, touring the vineyards and learning how its wines and piscos are made.
Tasting & lunch
Enjoy a sommelier-led tasting followed by a traditional lunch at the estate restaurant.
Return to Lima
Transfer to the terminal for the evening coach back to Lima, arriving at night.
